Snow is moving into the Multipurpose Activity Center for Sunday's North Pole Holiday Adventure.

Children will be playing in the indoor snow, which is artificial snow fashioned from biodegradable packing peanuts made from cornstarch, said Diane Self, Edmond Parks and Recreation program director.

“We are moving it inside so if it is wet, it won't stick to the kids' shoes,” Self said. “If any of the kids eat any of it, it won't hurt them. When it is over, we will just blow it outside and it will go away.”

The holiday adventure is from 2 to 5 p.m. at 2733 Marilyn Williams Dr.

There also will be arts and crafts to take home and a visit to Santa's Sweet Shop.

Admission is $5 for ages 2 to 18. Everyone else is free.
