Home builders association still meeting industry need some 65 years later
For 65 years, the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association has kept Oklahoma City -area builders organized.
The first meeting was Feb. 3, 1943, on the 18th floor of the Petroleum Building downtown, in the office of W.P. "Bill” Atkinson , a builder-developer who founded Midwest City , which was incorporated the next month, on March 11.
