Home invasion reported in northwest Oklahoma City Friday morning

Police are responding to a report of a northwest Oklahoma City home invasion. A black sport utility vehicle with two robbers inside was seen near Lyrewood Lane Friday morning

Police in northwest Oklahoma City are looking for two robbers spotted inside a black sport utility vehicle that was involved in a home invasion Friday morning, according to police radio reports.

The two robbers inside the SUV left the area of Lyrewood Lane and Northwest Expressway about 4:40 a.m. The SUV was seen going north on Lyrewood with the robbers, described as two black males, inside it. One robber is described as about 5 feet 8 inches tall and the other was about 5 feet 6 inches. Both wore black hooded jackets and appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s. The SUV may be a Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon, police report.

Both robbers were armed with handguns, police report.
