Tulsa police believe a man charged with first-degree murder in November is residing in Oklahoma City to elude authorities.

Laron Tucker, 33, is accused in court documents of being one of four men involved in the fatal shooting of Kendall Eugene Austin, 23, of Tulsa in the 5000 block of South 36th West Avenue.

Austin, who was Tulsa's 50th homicide of 2013, was killed Oct. 1. Witnesses told police that shots were fired from a sport utility vehicle at Austin and another man, identified as Jay Homer Johnson, who reportedly retrieved a weapon from a house and began exchanging gunfire with the SUV's four occupants, police said.
