— Horse riders competed in regional trials Saturday and Sunday at Feather Creek Farm in northeast Norman.

Farm owner Dynah Korhummel said 135 competitors vied for awards in dressage, cross country and stadium jumping. The U.S. Eventing Association's horse trials were the sixth major equestrian event at the farm since Korhummel purchased and renovated the property at 1501 72nd Ave. NE in 2009.

Riders over the weekend came from Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi to compete on a course that has been sanctioned by the U.S. Equestrian Association.
