Hospital to Patients: We Maybe Exposed You to HIV

A hospital on Long Island is urging thousands of its patients to get tested for HIV and hepatitis due to possible blood contamination related to the use of an insulin pen, according to ABC News.



South Nassau Communities Hospital sent out letters to more than 4,000 patients who received insulin.

The Oceanside hospital, located on 1 Healthy Way, is now warning exactly 4,247 people of a particularly unhealthy situation, ABC News reports.
