Hot and humid weather is ahead for the next several days in Oklahoma

Temperatures are heating up in Oklahoma. The high Thursday will be near 91.

Temperatures will heat up in Oklahoma Thursday through the weekend, the National Weather Service reports.

Winds will also be strong. The temperature Thursday in central Oklahoma will be near 91 degrees with gusts of 33 mph.

The high temperature Friday will be near 93 with a chance of rain and winds of 29 mph.

Saturday will be even hotter with a high near 94.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91. South wind between 20 and 24 mph with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70. South wind between 17 and 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 93. South wind between 15 and 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70. South wind between 13 and 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 94. South wind between 14 and 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.
