Friday the heat index values in central Oklahoma will be up to 101 degrees.

On the first day of summer, winds will gust up to 28 mph with high humidity.

The forecast from the National Weather Service is as follows:

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 101. South wind 13 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75. South wind 9 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 96. Heat index values as high as 99. South wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75. South wind 13 to 18 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95. South wind 16 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 73.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 96.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 96.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 74.

Wednesday: Sunny and hot with a high near 98.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 75.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 95.
