Another hot, sunny day is ahead in central Oklahoma Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports.

Winds will be from the south with gusts up to 28 mph.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 92. South wind 17 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly clear with a low around 68. South wind 11 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 90. South wind 10 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy with a low around 69. South wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 86. South wind 9 to 11 mph.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 67.
