Hot temperatures and humidity returning to central Oklahoma

Temperatures are rising in Oklahoma. By Saturday and Sunday the heat index will rise above 100 degrees.

Hot temperatures are returning to Oklahoma.

The high Friday will be near 91 in central Oklahoma, near 96 degrees Saturday and near 98 degrees Sunday. The humidity will cause the heat index to rise over 100 degrees Saturday and Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91. East, northeast wind at 7 mph becoming south, southeast.

Friday night : Clear with a low around 70. South, southeast wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 96. Heat index values as high as 101. South, southwest wind between 9 and 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 73. South wind between 7 and 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Sunday: Sunny and hot with a high near 98. South, southwest wind between 8 and 10 mph.

Sunday Night: Clear with a low around 73.

Monday: Sunny and hot with a high near 97.

Monday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 73.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 96.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 73.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 98.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear with a low around 76.

Thursday: Sunny and hot with a high near 98.
