Hot weather continues in Oklahoma Tuesday, but a breeze may help

The wind could provide a bit of relief Tuesday from the heat. Central Oklahoma temperatures will be in the 90s.

Temperatures will be in the 90s in central Oklahoma Tuesday, the National Weather Service reports.

A south wind with gusts up to 20 mph may provide some relief from humidity and the heat index.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 93. South wind 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 73. South wind 7 to 11 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 100. South, southwest wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 75. South, southeast wind 9 to 11 mph.

Thursday: Sunny and hot with a high near 98. South wind 8 to 10 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 76.

Friday: Sunny and hot with a high near 99.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 75.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 98.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 74.

Sunday: Sunny and hot with a high near 97.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72.

Labor Day: Mostly sunny with a high near 95.
