Hot, windy weather is ahead in Oklahoma Tuesday, the National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures will be near 92 degrees with high wind gusts. Skies will be sunny.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 92. Windy with a south wind 22 to 25 mph with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 70. South wind 18 to 23 mph with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91. South wind 18 to 23 mph with gusts as high as 32 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 67. South wind 11 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 88. South wind 11 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 66.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 86.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 66.
