Oklahoma House panel learns price of rail travel
The idea of zipping between the state’s two major metropolitan areas on a high-speed train is generally well received, but the price tag could stop anyone in their tracks.
The infrastructure needed for such a venture could cost $2 billion and the railway would still need state subsidies each year to operate.
