How kids' space interest lifted

A program to help Oklahoma students become interested in aerospace and engineering got a $35,000 boost recently.

The Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission awarded the grant to help fund Starbase Oklahoma’s Taking Flight program. It will be used to

purchase computer software and teaching materials, including Microsoft flight simulator software and computer joysticks for six classrooms as well as 2,500 rocket...
