NORMAN — Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops has all but said he’s naming his 2013 starting quarterback this week.

The announcement of either junior Blake Bell or redshirt freshman Trevor Knight could come at any time.

Although we aren’t sure exactly how OU will make the announcement, we know how they won’t make it: In a normal media availability setting or a more formal press conference.

The Sooners held this week’s two post-practice media sessions Monday and Tuesday, so the quarterback anointment will surely come in either a SoonerSports.com video interview or a news release.

This afternoon on Twitter, I threw out another suggestion: Bringing back this rapper and producing a second music video with Stoops and the starting quarterback.

That turned into a bigger exchange of fun ideas, which I’ve compiled into this blog post.

(If you’ve got your own idea, leave it in the comments section or tweet @jasonkersey and I’ll add it to the post).
