High school students from across the nation and around the world will debate Social Security and Medicare reform at a leadership and debate camp this week at Oklahoma Christian University.

Forty-seven students from 28 states and the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Rwanda are taking part in the I Debate camp, which runs through Thursday. Three of the students are from Oklahoma: Austin Sell and Sean Wood of Edmond and Hope Hancock of Hobart. Students will have the chance to talk with retired Army Gen. Tommy Franks, former commanding general of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq. The final debate is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
