Human drugs may end Oklahoma City gorilla’s infertility woes

A rare Western lowland gorilla hasn’t become pregnant after five years of mating at the Oklahoma City Zoo .

But a team of obstetricians and veterans think they have discovered why.

A tiny bump inside the animal’s brain was making her hormones go haywire.

The solution is simple, said Jennifer D’Agostino, director of veterinary services at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
