Oklahoma City crews mourn fallen firefighter Christopher Allen Dill

Dependable, humble, a good family man and a good friend.

That’s how Cpl. Christopher Allen Dill’s co-workers at Station 25 described him Thursday. The 15-year-veteran of the Oklahoma City Fire Department collapsed Wednesday shortly after battling a three-alarm apartment fire. The firefighter died later at Integris Southwest Medical Center.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Southern Hills Baptist Church under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

A Christopher Dill Memorial Fund has been set up at the Municipal Employees Credit Union, 8812 S Walker Ave. Condolences may be sent to the Oklahoma City Fire Department at 820 NW 5 or the International Association of Fire Fighters Union Local 157 at 157 NW 6.
