Individual Artists of Oklahoma hosts its 7th annual ‘Red Dot’ art auction from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at IAO Gallery, 706. W. Sheridan, on Film Row.

At “Red Dot: Recharged,” attendees can purchase a diverse array of original works by more than 60 emerging and established Oklahoma artists, including Michelle Junkin, Skip Hill and Brian Boone.  All works sold by silent auction.

The event, which has served as the nonprofit arts organization’s primary fundraiser since it began in 2007, will feature food by Jazmos and Cool Greens, and dessert by Cuppies and Joe.  Beer and wine will be available.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.  Purchase online here  or call 232-6060 for more information.

“Red Dot is one of our most exciting events we host each year,” said IAO Executive Director Kendall Brown. “The auction gives us a chance to showcase some of the best artists working in Oklahoma, while giving all in attendance a chance to walk home with a spectacular piece for their own collection.”

Founded in 1979 by three poets, Individual Artists of Oklahoma is a nonprofit arts organization dedicated to sustaining and encouraging emerging and established artists in all media who are intellectually and aesthetically provocative or experimental in subject matter or technique.
