STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Winter weather on the way to Oklahoma could force some changes in the high school football playoffs across the state.

Jenks and Union are scheduled to play the Class 6A championship game Thursday night in Stillwater, but the OSSAA is considering whether the game can be moved because of the weather. The Tulsa World reports the organization has reached out to the University of Tulsa about perhaps hosting the game.

The McAlester News-Capital says coaches at McAlester are watching the weather in advance of Friday's Class 5A title game with Guthrie, which is also set for Stillwater.

The Class 4A championship game is scheduled for Friday afternoon in Stillwater. That game is between Anadarko and Poteau.
