Klyde Warren Park

The Klyde Warren Park is located over the existing Woodall Rodgers Freeway between Pearl and St. Paul streets in downtown Dallas. The ribbon-cutting is this weekend, and grand opening events continue through Sunday. Admission is free, but there are restaurants and vendors with items for sale in the park.

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden


The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is on the southeastern shore of White Rock Lake at 8525 Garland Road in Dallas.

The Arboretum is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. From 6 to 10 p.m. Chihuly Nights showcases illuminated sculptures on Wednesdays and Thursdays. General daytime admission is $15 for adults, $12 for those 65 and older, $9 for children 3-12, and free for Arboretum members and children 2 and under. Chihuly Nights tickets can be found at the Arboretum's website at www.dallasarboretum.org, or call (214) 515-6500.

Downtown hotels will have special packages available. Select Marriott Dallas Hotels will offer Chihuly Arboretum Package from now until Nov. 5 and include overnight accommodations and tickets for two to daytime Chihuly Exhibit. Rates from: $139.
