The students attending the two-week Summer Arts Institute in southwest Oklahoma will be holding their final performances this weekend at the Quartz Mountain Resort Arts and Conference Center near Lone Wolf.

Here is a schedule of the student performances, which are free and open to the public.


Ballet and modern dance, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center, with a reception from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

The Institute Chorus, 8 to 9 p.m. Performing Arts Center.


Art gallery opening, 10 to11 a.m., Amphitheater.

Acting performance, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center, followed by a reception on the deck until 4 p.m.

Poetry reading and film screening, 4 to 5:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center.

The Institute Orchestra, 8 to 9 p.m., Performing Arts Center.
