Welcome Home

• 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Rinehart Gym at Fort Sill

• Fort Sill commanding general Maj. Gen. Mark McDonald will address Vietnam veterans.

• The public is asked to line the streets during the procession to the ceremony as the veterans arrive in buses. Veterans with health issues who cannot board buses may drive in procession and join the other veterans in the ceremony.

• The ceremony will be followed by a luncheon (reservations required), a tour and a retirement ceremony.

Vietnam War Commemoration

• 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at McMahon Memorial Auditorium in Lawton

• The event will feature retired Gen. Gordon R. Sullivan, a 100-member choir and a Vietnam video tribute.

• Veterans and attendees are asked to RSVP to Michelle Stewart at (580) 595-4559 or email welcomehomevet@yahoo.com.
