TULSA — Platinum-selling rockers Imagine Dragons have added a Feb. 22 show at Tulsa’s BOK Center to their upcoming “Into the Night Tour.”

Tickets for the show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday and start at $25. Tickets will be available at www.bokcenter.com, Arby’s Box Office, or by calling (866) 726-5287

The band will donate 100 percent of the net proceeds from the performance to The Tyler Robinson Foundation, which is dedicated to providing financial assistance to families with children battling cancer, according to a news release. By raising money to support these families, the foundation alleviates the desperation many parents experience due to financial strain, allowing them to focus their time and energy where it is needed most.

At 16 years old, Tyler Robinson was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and in the following year leading up to his passing he was able to touch many lives. He loved music, which was the catalyst for his relationship with Imagine Dragons. In a joint effort between the teen’s family and the band, they created the Tyler Robinson Foundation.

Produced by Live Nation, the “Into the Night Tour” will take the band to more than 20 cities across North America, including Los Angeles, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago and Minneapolis and will be the band’s last round of U.S. and Canadian shows supporting its “Night Visions” album before a string of international dates and festivals through spring 2014.

Alternative rockers The Naked And Famous will join the “Into the Night Tour” as special guests. Also appearing on select dates during the tour will be Los Angeles indie music artists Nico

Imagine Dragons’ debut album “Night Visions” on KIDinaKORNER/Interscope has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The album arrived at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 with the best first-week sales for a full-length debut by a new rock band in more than six years. The album has been propelled by the success of the twice-platinum-selling single, “It’s Time” and the six-time-platinum follow-up “Radioactive.” The current single, “Demons” has sold more than 1.3 million copies. A bundle is available now with “Demons” remixes, a live acoustic performance of the song, and the music video.

Rolling Stone proclaimed Imagine Dragons “the biggest breakout of the year,” Entertainment Weekly called 2013 the “Year of the Dragons,” and Billboard noted, “Imagine Dragons are rock’s 2013 live breakout.” The band also just released via iTunes their new film The Making of Night Visions, a live documentary that chronicles the recording of the platinum-certified album.

Imagine Dragons is Dan Reynolds (vocals), Wayne Sermon (guitar), Ben McKee (bass), and Daniel Platzman (drums).
