Explosion kills 1, injures 7

PUEBLO, Colo. — An explosion flattened a restaurant and damaged an adjacent building Thursday, killing one and injuring seven others. Crews were searching the buildings for anyone else who may be trapped inside the Branch Inn.

Plane, vehicle crash; 1 injured

ROMULUS, Mich. — A Northwest Airlink plane collided with a vehicle at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Thursday’s crash damaged the plane and hurt the driver, authorities said.
