Library gets donations

The El Reno chapters of the P.E.O. Sisterhood donated $700 and several books to the El Reno Carnegie Library. "We’ll use the donation for a variety of children’s items such as books, software and programming,” children’s librarian Penny Beals said.

Friday is the reservations deadline for the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art Volunteers’ 2008 Holiday Gala, scheduled for Dec. 5 at the museum, 1900 W MacArthur. The dinner and auction event is a fundraiser for area children’s art education programs. For reservations, call 878-5300.
