WRECKS CLAIM TWO LIVES
Two people have died in accidents on state roads, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

→Juanita Roland, 77, Stilwell

Roland died when a sport utility vehicle in which she was a passenger crashed about 7 p.m. Friday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said. Roland was traveling east on State Highway 100 west of Stilwell when the SUV failed to negotiate a curve, the patrol said. The SUV left the road and rolled, striking two utility poles. Another passenger, 8-year-old Latavia Roland of Stilwell, was flown to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition. A third passenger, Agnes Scott, 56, of Stilwell was treated at an Arkansas hospital, troopers said. The driver, Patsy Harley, 54, of Okmulgee was treated and released from a local hospital. All were wearing seat belts.

→Oliver Mark Simpson III, 30, Vinita

About 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Simpson was driving a motorcycle east on a Craig County road, one mile north of Big Cabin, when his bike ran off the road and into a barbed wire and pipe fence, the patrol said. Simpson died at the scene, troopers said. He was wearing a helmet.

Integris Southwest Medical Center opens its ambulatory infusion center Monday on the fifth floor of the hospital at 4401 S Western Ave. The center will serve outpatients needing antibiotics, hydration fluids, intravenous immunoglobulin, blood transfusions and some catheters. Clinic sets celebration
A community celebration is set for 3 to 6 p.m. July 14 in Duncan for the Sanford Children’s Clinic, 2502 W Elk. The clinic will open to pediatric patients on Aug. 3. Staff will give tours of the castle-themed clinic, and children’s entertainment and activities are planned. For more information, go to sanfordchildrens.org.
