Six-car crash clogs roadway
A six-vehicle accident shut down the westbound lanes of Northwest Expressway and portions of Portland Avenue for several hours Saturday. About 2:45 p.m., the driver of a green Ford Taurus suffered a medical event and crashed into three other vehicles, said Oklahoma City police Lt. Dale Marshall. The Taurus continued into the intersection of Portland and Northwest Expressway, where another vehicle hit it, forcing it into a pickup. The Taurus driver, who has not been identified, was taken to OU Medical Center in serious condition, Marshall said.
