In brief: Norman police find two bodies

NORMAN — Police reported the discovery of two bodies in a southeast Norman home Sunday. The bodies of a man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s were found in the 900 block of 24th Avenue SE when police responded to a call of a possible heart attack, police said. The causes of death are under investigation. The identities haven’t been released.

SHOOTING KILLS RATTAN MAN
RATTAN — Authorities are investigating the apparent shooting death of Jacky Ray Dellinger, 62, of Rattan. Relatives found his body on his property south of State Highway 3 off East End Road about 9:15 p.m. Friday, an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman said. Initial reports show Dellinger died of gunshot wounds.

STATE BOND ADVISER RESIGNS
Jim Joseph, a bond adviser for the state Council of Bond Oversight since 1991, has accepted a position with Oklahoma State University. He will have primary responsibility for financing building projects and managing the university’s bond debt.
