TODDLER DIES IN SUV CRASH
Thomas Ray Dunn, 2, of Beggs was killed about 6 p.m. Saturday when his father lost control of a sport utility vehicle on an Okmulgee County road and crashed, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. The boy was not restrained in a car seat and was thrown from the vehicle, and his father, Thomas E. Dunn, 41, of Beggs, was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said. A witness took the Dunns to the Preston Fire Department, and the boy was then taken to an Okmulgee hospital. The father was last seen running away from the fire station. A patrol spokesman said contact was made with the Dunn family, and troopers hope the father will come forward to provide details about the wreck.
