Final chance for care drop
Today is the final day to donate to IBC Bank’s Operation Care Drop to support military troops. IBC Bank branches in Edmond and throughout the state are serving as dropoff sites for care packages for U.S. service members. The branches include locations at 421 S Santa Fe and 1812 E 15th St. in Edmond as well as in Chandler, Midwest City, Norman and Oklahoma City. Care package supplies may be placed in the "Drop Zone” box. A shopping list of suggested donation items such as gum, travel-size toiletries and playing cards, is available at all branches. Supplies should be capable of fitting inside a quart-size plastic bag. Donors also can contribute approved items in bulk quantity for assembly later. People also are encouraged to write letters of support or thanks to be distributed to the troops.
