Benefit walk is Saturday
The Muscular Dystrophy Association’s fifth annual Walk for ALS will be Saturday at the Oklahoma City Zoo, 2101 NE 50. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. The walk begins at 10 a.m. For more information, call Megan Porter at 722-8001.

Club plans fishing derby
The second annual Statesman Club Fishing Derby is 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday. The derby will be at the club, 10401 Vineyard Blvd., near N Pennsylvania Avenue and W Hefner Road. Those invited include Statesman Club residents, Manchester House residents and all seniors from nearby neighborhoods. For more information, call 775-9009.

Vets Fest has music, prizes
DEL CITY — An evening of music and prizes is from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at Vets Fest 2009. The dance is at American Legion Post 73, 5000 SE 24. It is sponsored by the Oklahoma Women Veterans and Women Marines associations and the post. Disc jockey Ronnie Kaye and oldies band Mike Black and the Stingrays will provide entertainment.
