Man arrested in tire case
Police arrested an Oklahoma City man Thursday after a tire store employee locked him inside a tire trailer during an apparent burglary attempt. Police arrested Theodore Ernest Hyrniak, 44, on a burglary complaint in connection with the incident at Hibdon Tires, 6414 Northwest Expressway. He was released Friday from the Oklahoma County jail on $3,000 bail, a jail spokeswoman said. A Hibdon employee padlocked the trailer door after he saw a man enter the trailer about 8:10 p.m. Thursday, according to a police report today. Officers found Hyrniak inside.
