AG, Walmart keep project
Attorney General Drew Edmondson and Walmart will continue a campaign to help domestic violence abuse victims find shelters and service programs in their area, the attorney general’s office said Wednesday. Walmart has placed informational posters in its women’s dressing rooms and rest rooms so victims can privately access the information. The posters include tear-off cards in English and Spanish with contact information for the Oklahoma Safeline, a toll-free hot line for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking. The number is (800) 522-7233.
