Michael Nakvinda, 41, from
Oklahoma City to North Dakota on Thursday after his arrest last weekend. Nakvinda appeared in court in Fargo, N.D., on Friday.
Nakvinda is charged with murder,
robbery, burglary
and theft in connection with the Oct. 26 beating death of
Philip Gattuso, 49, formerly of
Oklahoma City.

Police search for woman
A woman may have been abducted Friday evening, officers said. She is white, in her mid-20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs between 140 and 165 pounds. Her dark hair was in a ponytail, and she was wearing red or pink shorts, a white tank top, white
tennis shoes and white socks. About 5:30 p.m., a man was seen dragging a woman and throwing her in the back seat of a newer model white
Nissan Pathfinder with tinted windows at McKinley Avenue and NW 23, police said. The abductor wore a dark-colored ski mask with a white tank top and dark pants. A white male with dark, spiky hair and dark clothes traded seats with the driver at the intersection of NW 23 and Douglas Avenue, a caller told police. The SUV was last heading west on NW 20 or NW 21 from McKinley.

Fatal crash closes road
A fatality accident involving three
vehicles closed the Muskogee Turnpike at mile marker 7 in Wagoner County about 9:30 p.m.
Friday. One vehicle was reportedly on fire. One of the northbound lanes
on the turnpike was blocked as well as
all southbound
lanes, according to the Oklahoma
Highway Patrol.
