Advice from the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians about
what to do if an eye-related accident occurs.
- Seek medical attention immediately
- Stay calm and do not panic
- Do not rub the eye
- Do not rinse out the eye
- Do not apply medication to or around the eye
- For blows of a blunt object, apply a cold compress
- Shield the eye by taping the bottom of a foam cup against the bones...
