Ottawa County votes to display “In God We Trust”
MIAMI, OK — Ottawa County commissioners have changed their minds, voting Monday to put the words “In God We Trust” somewhere in the recently built courthouse.
About 50 people attended the meeting where the unanimous vote was taken, Commissioner John Clarke said. The three-person board’s decision was met with applause, he said.
