In lab, Edmond foresees windfall

EDMOND — The Edmond Economic Development Authority estimates the new Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation Forensic Science Center will have an initial $44 million impact on the city.

Janet Yowell , Edmond's economic development director, said $40 million of the impact came during the two-year construction of the 86,000-square-foot building.
