French drugmaker Sanofi-Aventis says it is promoting two executives and adding a third to its executive committee. Hanspeter Spek will be president of global operations. Spek was in charge of the pharmaceutical business. Research and development leader Marc Cluzel is now executive vice president. Wayne Pisano, head of Sanofi’s vaccines, is now on the executive committee, expanding it to nine members.
