Quarterback vacancies are beginning to fill up across the Big 12. Still, some jobs will be fluid. The quarterbacks you might see sooner, rather than later:

•Kerry Meier, KU: A local boy who started eight games a year ago as a freshman, the 6-foot-3 Meier sure looks the part more than 5-11 starter Todd Reesing.
•Michael Machen, Baylor: He's a senior transfer with ample experience and a big arm. He'll get a shot to produce.
•Zac Robinson, OSU: OK, so he'll line up at wide receiver. But he might be passing from there, too.
•Keith Nichol, OU: Assuming Sam Bradford's the man, Nichol will get more game experience than recent Sooner backups to speed his development.
•Austen Arnaud, Iowa State: Bret Meyer has been a trooper, but the future is not now. The future is Arnaud, a redshirt freshman.
