Five incumbents were re-elected — three of them without opposition — in the Chickasaw Nation general election.

Mary Jo Green, of Ada, was re-elected to the Pontotoc District with 62 percent of the vote and Linda Briggs, of Marietta, took the Pickens District with 57 percent, spokesman Tony Choate said.

Beth Alexander, of Achille, and Timothy K. Colbert, of Sulphur, also retained their seats and Mark H. Colbert, of Ardmore, will keep his seat on the nation's Supreme Court. There were no challengers in those races, Choate said.
