Ingrid's Kitchen — fast service but not fast food

The restaurant is probably most famous for its Saturday afternoon dances. They push back the tables and a live band plays for anyone who wants to get up and participate.

And now, after 31 years in business, the restaurant is open for dinners, Miner said.

"It's a whole different atmosphere," she said. "It's a separate menu with wait staff at the tables and a rapidly expanding menu."

Dinner, lunch or during their famous breakfasts, Ingrid's is still very laid back; a great place for a casual business meeting, a family meal, or a date.
