U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe showed up Monday night for the Senate Democrats' climate change talkathon to do a little talking himself.
"It's probably necessary to do something all night, to get the attention of the American people," Inhofe said. "You keep saying, 'Climate change is real. Global warming is real. It's real, it's real, it's real.' If you say it enough times, people are going to think it's real."
Sen. Barbara Boxer of California, Inhofe's frequent sparring partner on environmental issues, noted that at least he didn't bring up his usual assertion that climate change is a hoax.
