ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (AP) — A Henderson State University football player who suffered a career-ending injury during Saturday's game has returned to the campus in Arkadelphia.
Robert Jordan returned Wednesday after suffering fractured tibia and fibula after making an 11-yard touchdown catch during the third quarter of HSU's 45-30 win over Harding in the game at Searcy.
Jordan holds both the school and Great American Conference records for receiving yards.
He caught four passes for 90 yards and three touchdowns before being injured on Saturday and was named the GAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
