Oklahoma death row inmate wants Buddhist adviser in death chamber

An Oklahoma inmate asked Tuesday to delay his execution this week so a federal judge can decide if the prisoner's Buddhist spiritual adviser can be in the death chamber during the lethal injection.

Donald Ray Wackerly II is scheduled to die at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester .
