Police arrested an Oklahoma City woman Tuesday after McDonald's restaurant employees reported she crawled into a drive-through window into the store. The woman became angry because she was asked to pay for her order, according to the police report.
Cierra Steed, 20, was booked into Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of public drunkenness and an unrelated traffic warrant, jail records show. She was released on bail.
Employees at the McDonald's at 9001 S Pennsylvania Ave. told police a woman drove directly to the second drive-thru window after placing an order about 2 a.m. Tuesday. The workers told her she hadn't paid for her food, and she became belligerent and insisted that she had, according to the report.
The woman broke the drive-thru window as she climbed through it. She began knocking milkshakes off the counter once inside the restaurant, police said. Workers called police when she refused to leave.
Police found Steed in the passenger seat of the car, which was parked outside the restaurant, the report states. There was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car, and she was unsteady on her feet with slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, an officer wrote in the report.
When Steed first identified herself to officers, she said, "Wait ... that's my cousin's name," according to the report. She screamed during the trip to jail that she would return to the McDonald's when she got out, to cause more damage, police said.
