Investigators digging in a rural grassy field near here have found three bodies, sources said Wednesday night.

Investigators began digging Monday for the bodies of two Oklahoma City women and a girl who have been missing since 1992.

Wendy Camp, 23, her daughter, Cynthia Britto, 6, and Camp's sister-in-law, Lisa Renee Kregear, 22, have been missing since May 29, 1992.

Investigators discovered the bodies Tuesday, sources said.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been working on the cold case.

“I can't confirm anything,” OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said Wednesday night. “We hope to wrap it up by the end of the week.”

It was unclear Wednesday night if the bodies had been removed from the dig site. A spokeswoman for the chief medical examiner said no bodies have been received at the agency.
