InvesTrust names new investment officer

Mark Williams, formerly the senior portfolio manager at Bank of Oklahoma, has been named chief investment officer at InvesTrust.

InvesTrust has hired Mark Williams, formerly the senior portfolio manager at Bank of Oklahoma, as chief investment officer.

InvesTrust, a national bank trust with a focus on personal and corporate trust and investment management, is part of ASC Holding, the asset and trust management subsidiary of American Fidelity Corp.

Williams has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. At Bank of Oklahoma, Williams oversaw more than 1,200 accounts with $2 billion in assets. He also served as the lead portfolio manager for Central Trust and Investment Co. of Columbia, Mo., where he oversaw a team that invested $900 million in client assets. As director of research for Invista Capital Management, Williams created and implemented a pooled research platform for major money management firms.

“In more than two decades in the financial services industry, Mark has demonstrated his commitment to providing clients the highest level of personalized service and helping them navigate choppy financial waters with a reasoned and thoughtful investment approach,” InvestTrust CEO David Thompson said. “He is equally adept at evaluating investments, forecasting market trends and creating long-term strategies.”
