IRS holding refunds for Oklahomans who failed to file 2007 returns
The Internal Revenue Service is holding $14.3 million in refunds due to 15,200 Oklahomans who have not filed a 2007 income tax return.
To collect the money, a return for 2007 must be filed with the IRS no later than April 18. The median refund due to the Oklahomans is $620.
Nationally, refunds totaling more than $1.1 billion may be waiting for nearly 1.1 million people who failed to file returns in 2007.
