Is it better to do sit-ups everyday or have a rest in between?

June 16, 2005: I think you can work abs more often than other muscle groups, but they do need a rest from time to time. Four times a week should be plenty.

June 16, 2005: Always good to work your abs, but the key to losing those inches is diet and cardio. Dump sodas, alcohol and bad foods, eat right and do some form of cardio for at least 20 minutes 5-6 times a week. Sit-ups by themselves will make your abs stronger, but good diet and fat-burning cardio will help you drop inches. Rule of thumb: "spot training" is a myth.
